It has been my personal experience to always leave the campsite better than you had found it.I always think of the other guy. So that when it's my turn someone is thinking of me . We are all in this boat together. I always do what I can. Politicians on the other hand are not qualified to run our society. What do you call a unemployed millionaire ? He's a politician. You don't need a university degree to qualify. All that you need is to be unemployed ( so you can run a campaign . ] You need a lot of friends and a lot of money . PERIOD !!!!
I don’t get the question. I’m assuming you’re saying if we could convince all of us not to vote and to see if somebody magically won the election anyway would tell us if our votes matter? But no, I want more people to vote. I think that’s the key to getting our democracy back.
No. I want more people participating in our democracy, not fewer. What do you mean "if our votes really matter"? Are you insinuating elections are rigged, or are you speaking more generally about the electoral college system?
There was no question which way my state would go. Whether I voted inline with that outcome or against it, my vote made no difference on anything except perhaps the very local questions.
Still i vote, but I admit it feels more and more pointless
That’s a pretty interesting thought experiment, but it would be really difficult to convince everybody. A lot of people have really strong convictions about their party and they might even say they wouldn’t vote, but then they would sneakily do it anyway. If even one person voted, it would completely undo the entire experiment. A cool idea, but not very practical.
I do believe given the daily tragedies. That we explore all necessary avenues to recorrect our trajectory into all of our tomorrow's . I do know that according to the law of procedure that for a democracy you must have a certain percent to make a ""quorum "" Without out the required percent. There is no democratic representation falls short , it then becomes null and void . Making it possible for lisence professional recognized on merit to assume the defunked position .
Didn't that happen in the last election?
