Any thoughts on XPENG IPO this week?

Cushman & Wakefield Interested in a Sales Associate position at Cushman & Wakefield. I have experience as a government analyst for 7 years but nothing related to commercial real estate. I want to become a more competitive applicant but not sure where to start. Are there any certificates, skills, or knowledge that I should be learning in my free time?
What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

I would suggest trying to negotiate as high as possible as an external coming in.
Hey cot 1 & op! I sent you each a message! Thank you!
When you’re dealing with gov. jobs whether local, regional, state, or federal there is a lot of limitations in the salary with little wiggle room or even PTO. I actually just left my dream job as a Gov scientist because I got an offer for $30k more and double the PTO. Went back to gov and said I really don’t want to leave, can we do anything to which they responded the gov limit allowed me an extra $2k and no wiggle room of PTO…. So I left.

I have the same pay scale at the City. You can only book time in Lieu for Ot and bank a maximum of a month or 2 weeks in 1 year which has to be used in that year (cant carry), I think. Also, remember this is public sector so the negotiations arent like private. Finally, you can move up the scale fairly quickly as the non union performance management system recognises work plus cost of living annually. Similar thing happened to me when I joined the City years ago. I would take the 106k knowing it will move up
Thanks for the info! He has signed and starts mid December. He was able to get them up to 108!
Municipal employment usually has a MOU that provides for structured steps. As stated, it is very uncommon to start about “step 2”. That is likely 106k. Should progress to $121k, or whatever “top step” is in due time, at least in the US. I cannot speak for Canada, but I doubt it is much different.
I live in the US so government negotiations might be a little different. Government jobs have strict pay structures but might have room to match current pay or offer a sign on bonus. Your partner should also ask for the pay scale and how pay increases occur for the position (this should be transparent for government jobs).
I work for the City of toronto so i know how the increases work. Very structured once your inside. Coming in as an external person is the most leverage/power you will ever have so you want to get as much as you can as the increases are determined.
Typical gov jobs are very structured in their pay scale. I dont expect much negotiation tactics available in this case. If your partner is chasing career stability, then govt is the way to go. If your partner is chasing the salary, industry is the way to go.
do you mind sharing the position title and the number of experience of your partner? salary range of 104-121K seems pretty good compared to what we get here in NC government jobs.
Is that with the conversion rate?
Correct
