I'd choose stability. Of course, in real life you don't always get to choose. I've had periods of my life that were quite unsettled. That can look exciting from a distance, but when you're in the middle of the chaos it's honestly not that much fun. If you seriously think you can start your own business, that's a good reason to embrace some instability. In that case, think a lot about your tolerance for risk and decide.

Thanks for sharing!
In my 20s I chose growth at all costs. My 30s i am getting what im owed from those long nights.
Given the market ive chosen to stay in a low growth stable job that pays well and guaranteed not to cut me. Something I could put a decade in.
In a typical economy and market I would never do this, but I think we are about to go through something dramatic.

Yes that’s part of my hesitancy based on today’s economy too.
If you're in your 20's or 30's with some savings, you may want to try out that new job. However, if you're closer to retirement, then the comfortable, stable job/income may be more appropriate. It depends what your passion is for the work that you want to do and if you have a support group to help you make the change.
