I care more about working from home and 5% isn't that much so I'll take the cut. It'll save my sanity and let me prioritize worklife balance which is way more important to me than 5%.
I’d honestly take the 5% cut for permanent WFH. Peace, pajamas, and no commute? Worth it. What matters more to you: money or flexibility? I wouldn't change WFH if I didn't need to because it's my way of life now.
This is easier than 2+2.
5% cut
5% isn't moving the needle at all. I would happily sacrifice that if it meant not having to commute every single day. If it was 25% in either direction, it'd be a much harder decision to make.
Low key wish this opportunity would present itself now lol. I would take the cut all day for a remote position. We were forced to RTO two years ago and I can't express how much I miss WFH.
I'd take a much bigger pay cut to work from home. We spend an incredible amount of money commuting and working in an office environment. 5% is nothing compared to the freedom and flexibility of WFH.
