Before I got into this field I was pretty much set on becoming a school counselor. Then I realized how poorly they get paid and decided to pursue something with a little bit more security for me and the kids, and thats how I ended up here. I don't regret it one bit though.

I would probably be in the medical field. I was a pre-med student for two years before I switched to a finance course. Had I decided to continue, I would have pursued medicine or health science.

Same. Student loans were going to be to much so I put it all on hold in 2020… I should probably go back.

I wanted to do something food related… then I looked up how much chefs make

Now it’s just a hobby 🤷🏻‍♀️

I used to think “teacher” but after hearing some of the stories of this new generation of kids, but now I would probably say something in sports marketing

These kids are *not* okay

Something real estate related

I’m putting together a beta program that was successful for my current company and I want to see if it will help other leaders.

Anyone else just sitting around waiting for the ax to drop? I'm a soon to be 2nd year corporate associate who has seen work completely dry up. My utilization held pretty steady around 50% immediately after shutdown, but August was below 15 billables with no appreciable work in the pipeline. Aside from letting people know I'm available and doing pro-bono/CLE, it's starting to feel like a serious "covidcation" leading to termination.

A female friend of mine recently received a settlement in a sexual harassment action against her employer during mediation. Upon receiving her (female) attorney’s final bill she was blown away to discover that her attorney charged her almost five times what the attorney estimated she would charge for the mediation.
