I can't fathom having some career trajectory that made me less curious or less bold or less myself. My career is my job, it's not me, so I can't see what I do at my job curtailing my curiosity. If anything, I'd opt for financial security as it would allow me to indulge my curiosity.

I have coworkers who thrive in those environments. I personally don’t. And that’s ok.
I think I fit your query - I'm casually looking for something else that might expand my horizons. There's certainly not a fire under my ass to get out of where I'm at but at some level there's probably something better for me. - at the same time there's a significant child care/flexibility element that could make what I'm looking for impractical for another 3-5 years.
It depends on what your definition of success is. For me, I would call that success. I am at a point now where I really value work-life balance and spending time with my friends and family.

Honestly yes. I have chronic migraines so anything to make my days easier is a win for me. I work on the phones right now and I’m fighting to get off of them. That would be my biggest career win for me. Even though the role would be super back office.
I’ve noticed myself become less motivated as I’ve gotten older but I’ve focused on myself and activities outside of work more. I don’t know if it’s necessarily a good thing, but I’ve tried to not get so caught up in corporate life and focus on my mental health.
