I just moved to the US and got the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card. Now I am seeing amazing bonus point offers from different cards. Is there any harm in opening 2-3 cards at once?
Them: "WE ARE HIRING LIKE CRAZY!!! UwU :) ❤💕" Also them: "Followup on your recent application. I hope this message finds you well. We appreciate the time you put into your application. Unfortunately, we are unable to move forward with your candidacy."
These 2 comments in the same interview.
Deloitte is hiring profesionals for the position related to profiles mentioned in the snip below. Open to refer
I applied for a position on the vendor side, with a team I currently work with (I’m agency). I have a friendly relationship with the team lead but wondering if it’s appropriate to tell him I did it

What’s the best place to look for internal audit jobs in industry? I have tried applying using LinkedIn but there hardly any response. Been stuck in PA for too long and lost touch searching jobs.
If you qualify for or want to apply to multiple positions at a single company on Linked In, do you apply individually to each position? Reach out to the poster? Pick best fit and only apply to one?
Recruiting for a position at Fortune 500 company. Location Chicago IL area of focus is technology strategy & transformation with an enhanced focus on portfolio management of strategic initiatives. Please DM if your interested I will need your resume for review.
Any thoughts on Bain and what their capabilities are in the RPA space? Looking around at jobs and I see they are hiring, but didn't know they did work in rpa or intelligent automation.
Just got an interview for an in-house job at FAANG, but I recently accepted another job offer already. If I turn down this interview, will I ruin my chances later?
I am considering coming into an Analyst role at A&C GPS. I have 1+ years relevant consulting experience and was promoted to Senior Analyst at Accenture. Will this be considered for promotion to consultant at Deloitte a year after start? If I need to wait two years to make consultant at D I would just stay at Accenture and apply to a consultant role once I qualify.
is EY hiring H1? any idea ?
Should you tell a recruiter that this opp is your first choice after you share you’re interviewing elsewhere?
Anyone on here come from or exit to VW or Audi (or know anyone who works there)? They have a lot of interesting jobs posted on LinkedIn - wondering what the culture is like.
Feeling stuck in my role, but unsure of my next move. Move agencies? Stick to social/PR? Acct mgmt? Get an MBA to become an eventual brand mgr? I’m so overwhelmed and feel like I have to specialize.
Had final round 2 weeks ago and have not received any communications about candidacy or even potential next steps (additional interviews). I’ve followed up with the recruiter twice via email and…cont.
For anyone who is in the Financial Services niche for audit, do you think fund admin at a 20%-25% pay bump is a good exit move as you hit senior? My firm has some solid clients and decent exposure but we’re forced to work on Employee Benefit Plans in the summer and I feel that hinders professional growth
Ok 🐠fam - at hertz and gold board not updated. Line of at least 15 peeps in front of me (all in same boat)...ideas?? Just take a car and let exit person deal?
PwC Director comp/Advisory/Technology Consulting/High cost city - What is the range of director compensation for external hires?
Will Deloitte usi follow wfh post covid?
If your dogs get in a fight at your feet while you're working, and you end up bleeding, can you claim workers comp?
What are the best non-FAANG tech companies to work for? Specifically, given this bowl's subject matter, for in house legal roles, but also more broadly. Comp, culture, nature of work, company prospects, etc.
Looking for suggestions for house plants (two or three varieties) that look good, don’t attract insects and worms, hardy, and low maintenance (don’t need daily watering). Now that WFH is here for some part of 2021, I wanted to bring some plants to my home office. Pictures of your own home office plants are also much appreciated. TIA!
Anyone catch the full Cuban interview on CNBC? Thoughts? It sounded pretty educational. Will look for it later....he's also gonna be on one of Swisher's podcasts this week I think. I like that guy - class act. In contrast to Chamath who made it all about him last week and promoted the populist David vs. Goliath uprising meme.
Any Salesforce AEs here? Applying/looking, and curious if there is a “preferred” business unit to sell to? They are obviously different industry sectors, just curious WLB/happiness levels and salary differences A few options below: Insurance Marketing Cloud Data & Identity Manufacturing Retail
You're fired (cuz y'all gettin' me fired)
What to do when you get a promotion but lower than expected salary adjustment? Does anyone have luck negotiating? Or if you’re happy with work otherwise is it better to just accept.
@mckinsey folks - heard of a "phone interview with HR" for experienced hires? Any idea what happens after? PST or round 1 with consultants ?
First time interviewing as an experienced hire. When a recruiter asks salary expectations, do I counter and ask for a range? I don’t want to go high & get dinged but also don’t want to get shorted.
How many agencies out there still have unpaid internships? To not pay a living wage for interns today seems hugely out of step with diversity goals.
Damn. Was lucky enough to land an interview. The interview went numerous rounds, it was super positive, so then I decided I would be 100% honest about something I wasn’t good at, in hopes of being clear that I was ready to grow. Then I got ghosted, and I think it’s because of the said honesty. Feeling low and stupid for ever admitting a “fault” in an interview instead of just telling them that I’m perfect.
For those who left public as a senior to go into internal audit...why? Trying to decide whether it is worth my time to go through this IA interview, is it really SOX work heavy?
New associate here. How frequent is travel within MC and OC at Big 4's Fed Gov groups? M-T every week, once a month...?
Anyone have friends/family in other professional services industries? Curious if consulting or law firms are handling this wfh thing better than the banks...by actually letting their employees wfh
