19 LPA , 18.50 Fixed ,50k variable pay + 1L joining bonus,
Role : senior software developer
Joining :1-Mar-22.
Location : on-site , process will be start once join here , they will send me around Aug-22
Please suggest me, which one i need to be choose for career wise and WLB wise.

Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Take your monthly expenses right now, subtract your rent, and add the typical rent for the type of apartment you’d want in the location you’d want in the new city. Add in $400-$500/month if you’ll need a car (car payment + insurance + gas). Everything else will likely be approximately the same. Maybe a little lower in your new city, but nothing major.
Just realized this is in the moms group. You’ll have to swap out the cost of daycare too if your kids are young.
