I went through egg retrieval (for IVF, not freezing, but I think it’s the same process) and didn’t find the symptoms bad at all. Maybe a little bloated, but really nothing too noticeable. The biggest issue was having a ton of monitoring appointments and needing to be home for the shots at the same time each day, so the time commitment was much more significant than the physical effects. Others’ experiences may vary but I wouldn’t have worried about interviewing for a new job during the process.
I echo this 100%. Only symptoms I had were mild bloating the day of my trigger shot. Though I do know people that had a lot more symptoms so obviously it varies. The monitoring appointments are very annoying though - every day or two for about two weeks.
No symptoms. Just need to account for early morning monitoring appointments every 2-4 days, more frequent towards the end. I did my shots at 8 pm so neither got in the way of work for me. The worst was traveling and going to a music festival where I had to carry the meds and syringes on ice in a lunchpail.
It made me really sleepy though. I told the doctor and she said it was normal because I’m growing things in my body. So hopefully it doesn’t make you too sleepy

I did two cycles and they were very different from each other. The doctor said the experience can vary not only by person but by each retrieval.
I was still able to work both times, so if your interviews and prep can be done during regular work hours, you’ll probably be okay. I personally wouldn’t want to have added stress when dealing with the hormonal changes, however.
Just be aware that you will need to do the shots at certain times, usually in the morning and then late afternoon/night, to the extent that might interfere with anything. I also had pretty bad stomach pain after the retrieval (likely OHSS but I was tired of appointments and didn’t go in), and some nausea and motion sickness towards the end of the injections. If you need to do any interviews over a meal, I would just keep possible nausea in mind because I was limited to eating pretty bland foods towards the end of the injections
I echo that each cycle is different. My first I only had mild bloating and heartburn after the trigger shot. Second cycle was lots of fatigue and trigger shot skyrocketed my blood pressure (never had any BP issues before). Working in BL was doable during first two cycles and I don’t think anyone really noticed anything. Third cycle we changed up meds and I was a trainwreck and it was very noticed at work.
