I'm currently building something but would love to work part-time with some early-stage (pre-seed, seed) company on sales, customer success, or project management for 15-40 hrs/week. Having trouble finding those kinds of roles.

Hi 👋🏻 Would love some support here - looking to build out a bonus structure for a Sales Engagement Mgr role - it isn't a typical sales role - this person will be closing deals but not necessarily securing leads. If they will be scoring leads, it will be organic via conferences, partnerships. Of course, we want to encourage and incentivize this person. Potentially giving then an extra 20-50k bonus potential. I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

Anyone ever negotiate an amicable exit from a startup? The context: been working for an 8-year old unicorn startup. Been there for close to 1.5 years. The culture is terrible. The CEO is a paranoid psychopath. My role changed immediately after I accepted the offer. I was setup for complete failure. No support. Absent leadership. Zero resources to get anything done. I’m done, not worth my mental health. But don’t want to walk away with nothing. Can exits be negotiated? Is this common?
