Trying to get into stand up comedy, any advice? Not sure where to start but am really serious about giving it a shot

Community, I’ve been meeting with a lot of people regarding next steps in my career. One of the best pieces of advice I received is to avoid micro-managing executive staff (agency leadership), as it puts downward and unwelcome pressure on people’s managers and ultimately oneself. Based on your experience in the last 2 years are there:
- Agencies you would steer clear from because their leadership micromanages
- Agencies you would recommend because their leadership gives you room to grow

Top 10 NY firm third year corporate associate (finance) trying to make a switch to litigation/white collar/investigations/trial work. Not currently possible to make the switch internally at current firm. Any tips for getting a foot in the door somewhere? Most recruiters so far have been unhelpful.

Any recommendations on resources for a litigator lateraling into a real estate associate role? Books, guides, newsletters, etc. would all be helpful.

Hello, I have been with the same company for 17 years. I am a supervisor for a laboratory in patient services. I worked my way up and currently have no degrees. Has anyone been able to work their way up in a company and then find a similar job with another company? I’m nervous that I’m stuck based on the fact that I don’t have a degree.

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

Looking at real estate vs stock market returns. How much ROI have you seen your real estate investments yield over the years on average? I know there are so many factors. Just trying to see if RE is worth it given that I will lock in a large amount if cash.
