In 2026, I’m debating taking a class in something totally out of my element, either singing lessons or clay sculpting. Would love to hear what kind of aspirations everyone has for the new year, whether it’s travel, learning, building community… not the traditional resolutions!

I have two goals: to take a class and also to take smaller steps every day to wake up with a clean bedroom, kitchen, etc. We convince ourselves we are too busy or too tired but I know so much falls to the side when I do get overwhelmed and then piles up.

Ooh that’s a good one

Taking a pottery class was the best thing I ever did for myself. My aspiration for next year is to get off my damn phone.

Second pottery. It’s the best.

Last year I got way out of comfort zone and started sailing with my wife. I can tell you one it keeps you moving around a lot because of eve hanging conditions. Next year I’m toying with the idea of making sashimi and sushi. I cut eat fish 24/7, also need to eat healthier just in general.

This year I'm gonna go out!!! I have a child and a busy work life that I have prioritized for years (for good reason obviously lol) but I'm finally starting to feel like we're at a stage where I can actually go to happy hour and see my friends or go take a yoga class etc. and things will be okay without me for a few hours. Basically just trying to realize that the world wont end if I take a little time to enjoy the things that bring me joy and maybe I'll even be a better parent and partner for it <3

About to begin the recruitment process for BCG and am coming in from EY where I’m currently a manager. I have pretty good work life balance: 8 am to 7 pm and on fridays, I can sign off at 3 pm. People are great at EY but I know the work could be more interesting at BCG and also greater pay. Currently making $150k. Should I just stay put? What are the big draws of moving to BCG?
