Hello Fishes,
I left capegemini on 4th of Feb and I still haven't got my relieving letter as well as experience letter. I'm trying to access my capegemini portal from webvpn.capgemini.com but I'm not able to access that either. Please suggest me what should be done, my next employer is asking for relieving letter.

I started delegating things I normally would have kept because “no one else could do them as fast.” Turns out, my team stepped up, and it made them feel more trusted. That shift bought me back hours each week and gave me breathing room I didn’t think was possible.
Sounds like you need some fun in your life. Also think about having balance in work and personal life. I had burnout. Do not want to do that again.
'That is above my pay grade' mentality. Stop being a labrador and trying too hard to impress people at the compromise of your own sanity.
I am a freelance journalist who needs to have a second (retail) job just to put food on the table. This may sound silly, but can you get a job with a different news outlet? Also, I recommend you get a dog. My dog keeps me sane.
Are you working hard on your sleep?
I actually would say disconnecting from media might help though its counter-intuitive as a journalist. I took a week off, completely disconnecting from social media, WhatsApp and got my news through a one-hour TV news cycle in the morning and evening. I spent a lot of time in parks, reading and at galleries and didn't meet up with anyone. I feel much more prepared for what's ahead - if you can afford to do that for a few days to a week I'd highly recommend.
Why are you working 16 hour days for a job that could easily replace you in a second? Take a vacation because Europe is beautiful this time of year.
Take more and frequent breaks where you step away and go outside or read something fun or do anything else. 16 hour days is a lot. I didn't have to work that many when I was in newspapers. I doubt you'll get over burnout doing that, honestly. Can you refuse?
I hear you . i once tried the whole “self care checklist” while still pulling back-to-back 14 hour days, and it just felt pointless. What saved me was cutting the workload itself, not adding more coping tricks.
I would recommend discussing your work-life balance with your manager so you can create strong boundaries for yourself and mention the burnout to them
You’re doing all these supportive things to rejuvenate and support your mental and physical health, and you’re still looking for tips to help you with burnout? The answer is right in front of you. This job is not right for you. You’ve proven you can work hard. How about seeing this instead as a JOB’s problem, not a YOU problem?
I work in a different area of publishing but we’re being asked to do more with less all the time. Colleagues get laid off and we have to pick up some of their work. If you love being a journalist, maybe you just need to change to another company. Or maybe what’s required of you is being amplified by your high expectations. I was unwilling to change how I worked (being a perfectionist) and ultimately I had to ratchet back my expectations. Best of luck to you.
