Congratulations! That's so exciting! The first baby is always such an incredible time for a new family. I do see what you're saying about transitioning to inside sales, however, I would think that transitioning to an entirely new job while juggling pregnancy and a newborn would be a little bit harder. Unless you feel confident in your ability to pick it up quickly. If you feel like you have a good work-life balance doing outside sales, it might be better to stick with what you know.
I stayed in Outside Sales, but with a very supportive manager and clear boundaries. It can be done, but Inside Sales definitely offers more consistency during those unpredictable early months.
