I'm finding that everyone in my office has a different arrangement, i.e. vacation time, flex time, lunch hour, etc. We have a company handbook (which I co-wrote) but the boss makes exceptions for anyone who complains. The old adage - the squeaky wheel gets the grease - applies. In other words, if someone complains loudly enough, they get what they want even if it's not fair to everyone else. I just don't operate that way and I'm feeling frustrated. Am I just being too anal?

Your boss is allowed to manage as they see fit. There's merit to pushing for concessions in areas which you value (E.g., salary bumps, bonus, wfh/hybrid, etc.). And typically, your manager won't offer it if you don't ask...

That said, difficult employees tend to be the first on the chopping block come layoffs. The squeaky mouse gets the cheese, but they may also find the mousetrap.

Hello, I was wondering about which companies usually hire for entry level ServiceNow role?

I’m currently doing large scale Oracle ERP implementation and I am having difficulty finding companies that hire entry level roles. I switch fields recently so I only have around 9 months of experience and I find that most ServiceNow position requires 2+year in ServiceNow :/

Background - I recently got the Certified System Administrator for SNow, PMP and CSM

Any insight appreciated, thanks!
