I’m having issues with not being political enough. When I sense a partner is crossing a line, I’m not completely deferential. I make my point ever so slightly and then add a fake deferential piece in there. I find that this ruffles partner egos in my group. How do you handle? Is what I’m doing not the right approach?

I've worked for the same company for the last 10 years or so. Right out of the Marines, into logistics.
