I want to join PWC as the the role is great over there. When should I call my HR for negotiation with pwc
? Joining date of pwc-30june and ZS is 20june. Have received the offer letter from PWC and accepted it already,i can still negotiate right? PwC

Anyone got recruited for Pune location recently? My interview process has been completed and asked for documents on 23rd Dec, but till now I haven’t got any update after that. Agree with all of the above. I ultimately decided I needed to exit to industry around that time in my career and have been happy with the decision
I think it's impossible to do if all... well. You deserve breaks too and time for your kids if you want it. I recommend leaving public accounting to work in private industry. I've been so much happier and had so much more time since I left PwC.
Yeah true, I like being in the middle where I get paid well with reasonable hours. But i think you could also he a controller or director of accounting with a cushy schedule if you have a good team. You just have to find the right fit.
There is a great book, called. I know how she does it. It’s pretty old now maybe 10 or 12 years old, but it really helped me. The author had a bunch of executive women keep weeklong time diaries. A ton of the examples were big four moms. Embrace the split shifts! I have three kids and was already doing this to a degree that really embraced it after reading that book. It’s one I could listen to as an audiobook and I struggle with doing that typically so you could listen to it while you do other things.
I typed out a reply but unfortunately it was inappropriately flagged for abuse and removed. I appealed so hopefully a human sees it should not have been flagged and restores it.
Booked nanny for Saturdays, and/ got my parents to help 3 weeks. Survived my first busy season with 2 kids.
Also! Use the backup daycare for Saturday’s for in home care!
good for you if you love your job, but leaving a public accounting firm was the greatest decision i ever made. that’s the only way i found that i could make it work.
i have so much more time to spend with my family (i have a 2.5 and 6 month old) and and the work is more interesting!! best of luck to you!! im not saying im not stressed, but im much less stressed than i was at a big 4
Outsource literally everything extraneous to work and kids. Laundry, food, cleaning, housekeeping, meal prep, transactional kid care like bathing and morning prep.
