I’m in a Level 1 Trauma center and I’m pretty sure the local starbucks manager makes more than I do. I spend my days navigating literal life-and-death crises, housing instability, and domestic violence cases, yet my paycheck barely covers my student loans. I love the mission, but the mission doesn't pay for my groceries in 2026. Is anyone else in a helping role actually making a thriving wage?

I struggle with perfectionism and anxiety and this job seems to not help. How can I learn to be less of a perfectionist in a job that highly rewards this kind of behavior?

What is the impact on rating and overall, if I have got all snapshots good but for one snapshot its like at level for 4 parameters and 1 parameter partially demonstrated at level and have got a development action on that. What is the responsibility of an OB hospitalist to advocate for or against sterilization (specifically tubal litigation) if any? I had a very controversial experience with an OB that made me wonder how much we should be trying to influence our patients' decisions "in their best interest." So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school.
