Anyone from Gujarat?
Hi,
In tcs my joining date is passed still not received onboarding link.
Is it normal there because been 4 days delay still they are not giving any update.
It’s kinda hectic to call every time to recruiter and get back with the same answer like work in process.
Should I even expect the joining date?
Let me know if anyone faced that kind of situation before. Tata Consultancy even onboarding manger is not giving Reply’s to my. Mails
TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

That’s a tough balance, especially with an owner who’s kind to your family. When you bring it up, focus on value, not entitlement: “I’m happy to support the business by handling HR tasks, and I want to make sure my compensation fairly reflects this added responsibility. Can we discuss a title adjustment or pay review to align with what I’m doing?” Keep it about business outcomes, not emotions.
I would encourage you to not let your emotions get in the way of what you feel like you deserve. Especially if you're doing way more than a traditional store manager typically does. Your manager is good to you, so the conversation shouldn't be hard. Just advocate for yourself and what your family needs.

I would definitely garner the courage to ask. Speak to your accomplishments, about you going above and beyond your position, how you are an asset…you deserve it, advocate for yourself!

Just speak to the person. As a small shop they're probably just relying on cost saving but sometimes needs must.

That’s a tough spot—doing the work without the title or pay is frustrating. You’re not alone, and you definitely deserve a fair conversation about your role.
