Copywriter with serious imposter syndrome at new job! How do senior writers up their game? Was in-house 1.5 years and underpaid in NYC. With only previous freelance experience (and nonprofit and grant writing before that) figured I had to slog through it for years. Cut to now, 6 months into a new copywriting role at huge tech company. My salary almost quintupled overnight. I think I’m doing great, but that depends on the day and who I work with (no other writers by the way).

Recently got a job offer from Wells Fargo wealth & investment management (WIM) starting 60k in Charlotte NC. The position sounds appealing coming out of college but my friends doing the risk program are getting 72k compensation. I feel that the offer is on the low end? Anyone have any thoughts and guidance? Hospice Social Worker here in Portland OR.. I took my current position in May at $38 an hour. It's the highest they said they could pay me knowing it's way less than other agencies in our area, but I took it because my caseload is small (part time 3 days a week with about 14 patients). BUT the cost of living keeps getting higher 🥴 What are others making in this field in metro areas?

I’m in an internal non consulting technology role at Accenture. Am I still considered over represented and compete with other consultants for MBA? Do I have higher or lower chance than consultants?

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

Frustrated by EOY evaluations and lack of transparency from my manager. I was told when I started a new role in September that my metrics from these first months would not play a role in my raise. When following up with my manager about why my raise was 20k less than my colleague they told me it was completely based on my metrics when I know it’s based on having started in a different department. My metrics are the same as theirs and I do more above & beyond work. Do I stay?

So I’ve been talking to this guy I met online for about a week. We’ve talked on the phone twice and both conversations were great. We’ve also been texting everyday. I noticed that he kinda sucks at texting. He doesn’t ask good questions or seem to know how to keep the conversation going.
