I’m in a specialist role now and expect a move to manager. I do have the skillset for director, though I’d still be growing into it (more green). A deputy director role feels like the right fit — it matches where I am now and where I’m heading. How do I advocate for that tactfully?

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more.
