How does one explain to the hiring team that I am leaving my current job because of the toxic environment. It’s his way or nothing at all.

I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. I’m curious to know if anyone has experience working part-time in architecture? I have been working for large international firms in NYC for the past 10 years. So I work all day every day. My evenings and often the weekends are all absorbed by work duties. Working part-time would allow me to find a better balance, and carve out space for side gigs and eventually start my own firm.
