The Country needs our prayers.
Hey Folks. I hope I am posting in the right space about this. Anyone knows the updated(2022) compensation range for QA Automation Engineers with 2 years experience?
A general range at Glassdoor has an average base pay at 110K/year shorturl.at/dhuIZ and I am looking for more sources. Cheers

I made the switch years ago when I realized that creatives laugh every day and strategists do not. So go where the fun is.
if you’re looking for a promotion as a strategist just try to get that. a lateral move to creative is only good if thats your goal.
would honestly just stick to strategy in this market as its much more employable outside of the agency world if you needed to take an in-house gig
Here’s the rub: you take that copywriting gig, they bring in a strategy director. Possibly british, possibly Swedish, next year. You get a couple of ads under your belt and then there are layoffs. You’re one of the creatives to go. They get rid of you, avoid promoting and paying you, and blame it on your career trajectory. I’m saying this as a creative.
Would you be on a good account?
You’re asking the wrong people. We don’t know if you even would like being a creative or not. Only you know that. Is this something you’ve always wanted or not?
Bad move. You’d be stuck there as a mid level creative because no other agency would pay what you’re being paid for a lateral move or even a move to senior.
I also think you getting paid what you are now to be a mid level creative makes you the most logical to lay off when the time comes. You’re gonna be learning on the job, but paid more than your role usually calls for…you’d have already been let go at 99% of the agencies out there.
If it’s a legit creative shop you should go for it.
