It’s not was most people do, but most people should
I would. Sometimes I apply via LinkedIn and am happily surprised. Great market for analysts right now
Welcome to the last 6 months of my life. It is time consuming but when you find the right fit it will be perfect and worth the extra work
^ where you seeing all these roles? I feel the market is kinda flat for analytics but very heavy on data scientist
@SDS1 well for seniors it is very hard if you don’t have coding. There are many analyst level jobs in Chicago. I understand your pain though. I, too, work in analytics/strategy and am plagued with the “you need R/SAS/SPSS” at the moment. To be honest with the way the market is going even data strategists need to have coding because of automation. Clients are transitioning their data to them so it would be good to try and learn some groundwork.
Thanks guys! I think I’ll keep with it even tho it’s a bit time consuming
Yep! I’ve been working in R and have worked in SPSS in the past. There are plenty of opportunities if you have the technical skills
