I’m not a Target employee but I would be very upset if I were. They are still going forward with opening new stores, while cutting 1k plus jobs because of declining sales. How does that make any sense? Maybe there is more behind it but I would think they would slow down with new openings and focus on maintaining the fleet they already have.

A councilmember would like to draft an ordinance allowing the general public to attend press conferences.  Currently, our local government does not have a policy regarding press conferences in place. But only members of the press are invited to press conferences. I’ve shared with him my general ideas about why I thought opening up press conferences to the general public would not be a good idea, he still wants to move forward.
