When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Should I start saying this for the purposes of providing comfort only??

My father took a home loan, and the same home is kept as mortgage.
I'm paying arround 22k emi for the same but unable to exempt tax as the loan is on my father's name.

I googled a lot how to transfer it but neither gift deed nor sale deed would work as the property is on mortgage that's under bank's ownership (until loan is fulfilled).
Tax is also getting deducted, I'm paying hefty emis.
What can I do?

Been working as an Assistant Technician for 3 years (2 years excluding pandemic) pay is £21k now £22 adjusted for inflation. I will be completing my Part 1 in architecture but also have a degree in Technology, should I find a different company after graduation or take roles offering £30-45k as an Architectural Technologist/Technician.

I recently moved to Dubai after getting married. I am still continuing my last job but eventually I'll hv to find a new opportunity here. I am from architecture background and wud like if someone who could help me with a referral. It is so expensive to live here, I am struggling to make things work. Is this a normal salary for someone of my experience or should I ask for a raise?
