Got very good snapshot scores (was on same project most of last PY) but during due diligence my lead gave my coach a very different picture and painted me in a bad light. They have never communicated this to me during our weekly 1-1’s and why give me good snapshots if you didn’t like my work? Just super frustrating when this could’ve been well discussed info and improved on instead of me being blind sided.

Okay, I need you guys opinions on this. Is this even a thing when the manager calls you to suggest/look into projects before you’re even onboarding? I’m still with my current employer and not starting Big 4 until after New Year. Red flag?

How do you find meaning in life? I went from a government job that I liked to affirm job that I hated to a legal adjacent job that is okay but boring. I have this pattern where I want to challenge myself but then when it comes to actually facing up the challenges I get overwhelmed and fail. Anybody else have a similar experience? I just feel empty and I don't know what to do about it

If MBB and BIG 4 were Avengers:

McKinsey: Ironman. Smartest and richest of bunch..and also the bad boy.
BCG: Captain America. Same intellectual firepower as Ironman..minus the flashiness.
Bain: Spiderman. Young but can pack a punch!
Deloitte: War machine. Tries wayyy too hard to look and feel like Ironman.
PwC: Hawkeye. A little pretentious but in it to win it.
EY: Black widow. No fuss, gets down to business.
KPMG: Rocket. Small and often underestimated..yet can keep up with the rest of them.

Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?
