Start speaking up when you feel like you're not needed at a particular meeting. Let them know you'll read the brief afterward but you don't need to be there. I used to think I had to be at every meeting I was invited you but it turns out, I really don't.

This is a workload problem, not a you problem. When meetings eat half the day, priorities have to be reset or something drops. That’s a leadership failure if it’s constant, not poor time management on your part.

Kind of in the same predicament. There are expectations of deadlines that I need to meet, but I am very short staffed and stretched very thin. Pretty unfair if you ask me.
