Hey fishes,
Let’s say Brillio gave some joining bonus and if we are leaving within an year we need to pay it back.
So does it mean I need to put papers after one year or is that okay to put papers after 9 months, so serving 3 months notice makes it one year.
Please let me know if anyone had an idea about this.

At least she was a fresher, but in our team, we have a lot of candidates with fake experience who were hired during the Covid period and given huge packages. However, when it comes to actual work, they shift their responsibilities onto the few people who are genuinely working. In a team of 10, only 2 or 3 people are actually doing the work properly.
Not a fresher . Am telling na she was acting like manager with only 3+ yoe in actual IT.
She does the same cascades tasks to juniors and other members.
I’m not sure about your experience, but in our case, the bench manager’s guidance had a positive impact. Under their direction, we were able to achieve our career goals. The team guided us effectively on upskilling and provided free training while we were on the bench to help us get deployed into projects.
We never felt it was micromanagement — it was part of their role and responsibility. Also, as per our understanding, project extensions fall under business operations, whereas bench management is a different function altogether.
Brillio lost a lot of projects because of deliverables being delayed . They committed deliverables in half the time than the project will take time to complete . Resulting in resource exploitation
Obviously, if the manager or the representative from Brillio lacks knowledge or understanding of the project they have undertaken, and is unable to identify or allocate the necessary resources, it will lead to delays. For example, during the discovery phase of a migration project, assigning only one or two people can result in incomplete work. Similarly, during development, having too few resources and an unrealistic timeline will further impact progress.
And regarding bench’s micromanagement what do you mean exactly . Do they even have projects to allocate ?
If they don't have projects to allocate, and it's their mistake, it doesn't mean that a person on the bench who is not being provided with any client interviews and is actively looking for opportunities on our side after submitting their resignation should be forced to stay available on Teams for 8 hours a day, sitting idle, or be pressured to take an early release. These practices should not be acceptable.
