I’m at a mid size transactional firm. I’m a total night owl and my partners have OK’d me starting the workday at around 11am because I regularly work until midnight or later. I get so much more done after dark! I still get some side eye from other associates, but 🤷🏽‍♀️

Somewhat recently lateraled from a large firm to a small firm and I’m starting to feel very micromanaged. Any tips on how to deal with this?

I know this question may sound dumb but How do you quit? See, if I didn’t like my supervising partner, I would not care. I would just submit my two-week notice but I truly like my supervising partner and I know quitting will be a shock and disappointment to her. I don’t care for the firm, in that I have no attachments or substantive relationships but I do care about my supervising partner and her feelings🙃
