I kind of relate to this, working in customer service on the phones when everybody else is dealing with customers and navigating the floor. For me, I prefer it. As an introvert, I like not being in the hustle and bustle all the time.

I get that! There’s definitely something peaceful about being a little removed from the chaos. I think that balance is key, enjoying the quiet focus but still finding small ways to feel part of the bigger picture. Appreciate you sharing that perspective 😊
I'm generally removed from the public side of things, but that's fine by me. I have done that, and while I didn't hate it, I prefer office work. It can get boring, and at times it can be isolating. There are other times, however, when I'm dealing with a lot of people, or traveling, so it all stays pretty interesting on balance.

That balance actually sounds ideal. I like how you’ve found peace with being off the public side but still get those moments of interaction and travel to mix things up. It’s true, the quiet can feel isolating sometimes, but when it’s balanced with people time, it keeps things interesting.

I work as a first contact agent so can not relate to it much. But it seems lonely for sure.

Yeah, it can definitely feel a bit isolating at times. Even if your role’s different, it’s nice to know others get the struggle of staying engaged behind the scenes!
