Got an offer within Product Ops (Mt View) for L4, 145k base, 15% bonus, 185k equity (33/33/22/12), 15 sign on. One competing offer (that is lower) and only MBB promotion to Engagement manager in a few months as leverage point. Most information online are tech-specific, e.g., entry levels start at L3. Is it different for non-tech? E.g., fresh grads join at L1, 0-2y experience join at l2, etc.

Need some inputs. My BU just went into a reorg which has benefitted me and I got a promise to a fast track promotion within 18 months of my joining. However, I’m passionate about a pm role and have got an offer for a rotation position. I’m not sure how to bring it up to my supervisor considering they made that promise only recently.
