they try to form a bond, by pitching their marketing pitch, so that you think it is a great organisation and you start liking the idea of being part of it.

A short presentation/talk, followed by complementary breakfast where you can just gherao random leadership person and ask your curious questions about the organisation or your career scope.

I guess meeting physically may or may not happen because some managers are from on-shore, but you can communicate with HR and they will arrange a virtual call, based on that you can take a stand.

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?
