Is it just me or is the market really bad? I’ve been a top candidate for my industry for nearly 20 years but wa slayed off due to downsizing. Since that layoff (3 years ago) I’ve only been able to secure short term project or consulting roles. I search and apply for long term roles daily and can’t even get to the interview stage. Even after reducing my salary expectations to by 30%.
