You can work how many jobs you want, as long as you can handle. If they are in the same field, you have to prepare to be fired from one or both once found out.
Yes my friends doing it
Of course, there's a bunch of stories / articles about it
Yes it's possible, but employers don’t want you doing this. There’s a good chance you’ll get fired if one employer finds out, which makes it risky but then you still have the other job to fall back on while you wait to find another second job.
Sure, as long as you get your work done and don’t create conflict of interest issues.
If either employer finds out they may terminate you on the spot. They also might contact the other employer who could then also terminate you. And if either job is in government, you could end up getting sued or arrested. Every now and then I’ll see a news story about it.
Risk vs reward, and the reward is definitely tempting. For me, personally, I’m exploring freelancing, more as a “moonlighting” thing as opposed to a “double dipping the time clock” kinda thing. Easier to tell HR (if it comes up) that I’m doing it on my own time.
Those are great points
I have always wondered this myself because people seem to do it. The only way I can think is if they took place during different hours but it seems like people work two 9-5 jobs and get away with it somehow.
Sure
Possible, sure, enviable, no. I'm busy enough just working one. As others have mentioned, companies don't want you doing this, so you'll almost certainly be fired if/when you're found out. But if you really want to, I'm sure you could get away with it for a while.

Trying to find a part time job at night because I wanna pay off my student loans haha. Thanks for the insights!
That's one of the things that came out of the pandemic that would be written about but probably was never as widespread as people were led to believe. But, there is a bowl here for overemployment, and people claim to be doing it. There's a problem with those pesky conflict of interest rules, of course. And also the problem of working all the time.
