Australia has a bit of a wild reputation, but honestly, in most cities you’re only likely to see the odd spider or hear stories rather than run into danger. City living is like anywhere else: plenty of people, lots to do, and wildlife mostly keeps to itself. It’s nothing to stress over; you’ll get used to it quickly!
Don't worry about the animals, that's just a distraction , its the people that'll get ya. Don't expect to kmow if someone likes you or hates you, you'll know when they try to ruin your life LOL
The animals in Australia are safer than North America. We don’t have bears, wolves, coyotes or anything that wants to eat you. I’ve lived in Sydney my whole life and have seen a snake on 5 occasions over 38 years and only outside of the Sydney metro whilst hiking.
You gotta look out for the drop bears though
