Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

I’d probably bill it 1.5, so you’re doing great.
Bill it as “preparing and attending a meeting…”. So if you’re a little over then it seems like you were preparing for it (which you should be billing for anyway)
Yeah, someone told me they used to synch up with people in the meeting to make sure they bill consistently so client doesn't see inconsistencies for calls that clearly ran for a certain time. I've never done this. I always write "attention to [whatever call is about]; call re: same" since it's abut the actual work product, not the call/meeting itself.
There is nothing unethical about billing clients exactly as they have agreed to be billed.
I’m not sure I understand. I was saying that if a client agrees to be billed in .1s and agrees that they get rounded up, then 31 minutes is .6, end of story.
Don’t your timers round up when you submit?
Nerd.
I don’t think partners look at time sheets with that much detail, to the extent they’re comparing yours with others. But happy to hear differently.
That being said, if your colleagues are underbilling and cheating themselves, why should you do the same thing?
I think it’s extremely client specific. I’ve definitely had partners making it a point to synchronize entries for particular clients.
If you bill a second into the next six minute interval it counts. That’s how the timers work to
31 minutes is .6. So that’s what I’d bill.
