You guys don't get online access? Uncle D ponies up for us

Nope!

I would say that it's worth it. If you are going to pay for a subscription, WSJ is the one.

like

KPMG also offers free online access to WSJ. It's a must read esp. If you are in FS consulting.

Does PwC pay? Doubtful

They used to pay until two years ago. They canceled the subscription.

Yep -it was great until it wasn't. Someone pointed out we have HBR access though now

Yes

Economist, yes

WSJ and Economist are free at airport lounges...

I used to do staffing. Involved cold calling And spamming clients and emails. People treated recruiters as middlemen, a noise and felt disrespectful.

But it’s not easy profession - to specialize and win in a niche.

I know it could be automated and give an experience to candidates and clients by making it ondemand, instant and specialization. I saw a Vision to turn this recruiting business into ondemand staffing companies like Airbnb - just publish talent and do the transaction.

I am looking for a new job and frustrated 😠 about the slow progress. Anyone with me? I think I am doing just about everything from hiring a resume builder to networking with hiring managers. Non-linear career track, "short" experience and having worked in non-target companies.. can translate to well-rounded, drive for growth and deeper involvement due to smaller teams. Hire me!! #justventing :)

Does anyone know a hidden gem for dress shirts and suits? I haven’t found a good place that sells the clothes with the slim fit I like for cheap. H&M is like the closest place I found that is cheap & slim fit but it’s not that great if you’re 6’2 or taller … I’m guessing the best option will be to find a local tailor 🤔
