Haha it's actually 160 for first year Strategy manager and ur doing great OP. I'm a 30 year Senior Analyst and would trade places with u in a heart beat
Well Op, I'm also 6 years out of school and 28. I was an experienced hire and a C2 now aligned to ACN digital at 105k. So don't worry, there's plenty of us behind you.
6 years to 150k is one hell of progression OP.
I am definitely interviewing for Accenture strategy.
A4: strategy is all leveled. MBAs start high then they level with everyone else at Manager. Your raise won't be that big when you get promoted sorry for the bad news!
6 whole years?
Most MBAs start around 28 and 29 as a consultant - I don't think you should complain
You still got a great signing bonus and were paid a lot more than regular consultants so it's still a good deal IMO
Yeah m1 salary is 160 - speaking as a newly promoted strategy manager - it's fairly consistent across firms
No way manager starts at 160. I'm 150 in second year post MBA.
Yup, strat leveled everyone's salaries.
F. I knew that but still figured managers started at least at 170. Suppose I shouldn't be surprised based on their weak bonuses.
I think if there's anything FB proves it's that salaries are within same range across all firms for the same skillset. Strategy firms and groups pay within same range according to friends at other firms and confirmed by FB!
If I'm promoted to Manager next year it'll be within 5 years and that would be considered early. Not sure why 6 is considered behind the pack - I think it would be a normal if not a slightly early path. Just think, in four years from now you'll be a SMG making a base of $200k (that's the current amount) assuming they keep the three year up or out rule for Managers.
Sure man, phishbowl9@gmail.com
@kpmg - ACN strategy no longer hires analysts and consultants outside campus recruiting
Seriously?? That's retarded
I think kpmg asked why there weren't any job postings.
And 200k is even better! When you add up the benefits and bonuses SM get it's well over 300k
What's your current salary op
