Is Northwestern part time MBA really worth it if you don’t live in Chicago? I would have to move for one quarter (only around 3 months), but I have a fiancée and a house. Is it really that much better than Berkeley (T10 I could do fully online with a few immersion weekends) or Georgetown (T15)?

My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I have a number of books on contracts that I’ve found super helpful over the years (The Tech Contracts Handbook, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Sign Here, etc.). If I want to apply R1, when should I request recommendations?

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

Im strongly considering an MBA. Only thing that deters me is cost. I’ve heard of some tier 1 firms that will offer tuition reimbursement for returning interns post-MBA, how common is that? Also considering pivoting to a firm that offers scholarships. Any tips/insight on this? Thank you!
