I’m pretty much a team of one. So I don’t have any comparison. I was initially hired under someone else and they quit a month after I started. I have since taken over their work. I’m coming up on my one year and have implemented a fair few initiatives.
Recession fam - having a job is a win at this point
Why go for the pain of asking, socializing the rationale, go through all the hoops for a meager $5k annual raise? Unless it's wholesome don't go asking and if you really are asking make sure there is another job lined up if the response if negative.
