Depends on your manager. Our group has 3 teams and 2 of the managers tell their team to use their best judgement and don’t ask questions. The 3rd will tell you be in the office or use PTO. Cold weather, ice/snow is no reason to WFH.
The 3rd also comes into work sick with the flu, coughing/sneezing all day and expects the team to all sit in a conference room with him for a team meeting.
We’re lucky as we only go in the office on a Tuesday and Thursday and the other 3 days WFH. Lots of Companies locally are either all back to the office now or only 1 or 2 days working from home . I get more done at home lol !
Same!!
We were told to come in on Monday because storm is basically over. And honestly it was, nbd, was easy to get in
My commute is over 1 hour and a half-- that's why it's a bigger deal for me

My company is generally flexible but I also have been there a long time and have built up goodwill.
Nice!
My workplace is really strict about us being in the office and never working from home. They won't even give us a reason why, it's just "policy." The cold would be the last reason they ever let us stay home lol.
Lol, same at Barclays. Traveling into the office for a day filled almost entirely with virtual calls feels a bit counterintuitive 🙄oh well...
What’s an “anchor” day?
Ahh gotcha
