Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. By Boomerang, if you mean to join back without interview then No. You can do that only within 6 months. You can go through normal interview process
Referrals or career portals aren’t that great in many companies and I believe the same in Deloitte also. In many companies, recruiters who source profiles are outsourced and If you join through referral or career portals, then recruiters wouldn’t get incentives. Most of the times, HR’s would work hand in hand with recruiters and wouldn’t consider profiles from career portals. This is a complex web of things and in short, career portals may not yield you an interview. If you haven’t burned bridges with the management you worked with, you can ask them to refer directly to talent team which is the best route but is subjective to - your relationship with them or their impression on you and current open roles etc.
