I've been at a small firm for a year. The boss holds all the client intel but his Revit workflow is toxic. He spends hours in my live sheets dropping green text notes and drawing spiderwebs of arrows telling me what to do. Even worse, he makes silent "ghost edits" to the 3D model without telling me, breaking my sheets. Then he explicitly orders me not to delete his notes so he can print them. Anyone else deal with a boss who micromanages via MS Paint in Revit?

I’ve been told that cold applying and making no contacts is usually not going to lead to anything, and that’s been true in my experience. But should I reach out to someone first? I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched.
