Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

For Plaintiff PI Lawyers, what is your "pitch" when you speak a potential new client who is looking for an accident attorney? Especially if you're a younger attorney, who can't make the "I have over 20-30 years of experience, have seen it all, won X number of cases and recovered Y amount of compensation for my clients" pitch. I explain the process, say that my firm has an amazing team, that I will keep them updated every step of the way. Is there anything else I could say to land the client?

New to PI. I filed suit and know policy limits ($500k). I want $1M but I have to live in reality. Insurance company wants to know if I have a demand. Is there any reason why I’d demand more than the policy limits?

Auto accident client. At-fault driver constantly drives by my clients house and blares his horn and flicks off my client and his wife. She’s scared. Can I use this to help my case? Amend the complaint for a claim of punitive damages or something else?

How do Plaintiff's PI firms structure bonuses and raises? Should I have known this info before I started here? I am at a mid-sized (4 attys, 4-7mil cases closed annually) firm on Long Island, salaried at 62k, will be admitted 1 year in November and have been carrying my own case load since being admitted. I have also signed up a a couple of smaller MVA cases. How do Plaintiffs firms structure year-end bonuses? Also, at what point would it be appropriate to ask for a raise?

I’m a defense attorney who has two interviews at plaintiffs firms next week. What types of questions should I be asking? Comp structure? Case load? Do you take cases to trial? Etc.

Do any NYC pi atty’s need some remote help? I have ten yrs experience running a busy firm in Brooklyn but moved to sunny FL and have extra time (I highly recommend fleeing NY for anyone considering it).

Question: ID, auto accident case, uncooperative client. I have tried multiple phone calls, texts, letters, emails, and sent an investigator out. I can’t get the client to respond / cooperate. I have discovery due and his depo coming up. What else can I do to try to reach him?
