I've been having an interesting debate and convo with some attorney friends. Which PI cases do you feel are your favorite to take on, or easiest for you?

Easy!!! NY labor law 240(1)

MVAs are easy to litigate. Labor law is fun and with all of these union guys in NYC making crazy money/retirement the economics are much more involved, which I like

I’ve found across the board in multiple states (RI, WA, and MA) that they tend to pay The most for settlements

My favorite is negligent security.

Whatttt!? really?

Personally, our firm is best with premises liability (slip/trip and falls). We are able to get far more than most firms.

What’s the secret? If you are ok sharing

My favorite, insurance bad faith. Easiest, MVA with clear liability.

Auto

Slips and trips are easiest

I loooove premises liability. I live for litigating though and they almost always go into lit. I like getting to flex my lit powers 💪🏼

For Plaintiff PI Lawyers, what is your "pitch" when you speak a potential new client who is looking for an accident attorney? Especially if you're a younger attorney, who can't make the "I have over 20-30 years of experience, have seen it all, won X number of cases and recovered Y amount of compensation for my clients" pitch. I explain the process, say that my firm has an amazing team, that I will keep them updated every step of the way. Is there anything else I could say to land the client?
