Or it will be very apparent that you are interested in joining the team. Write a cover letter and explain why you’re interested. A little vulnerability isn’t so bad. The road to yes is paved with nos. If you really want to work there, keep trying and don’t worry about what someone might think. Fact is, it might eventually work in your favour.
Don’t waste your time. Move on. They have seen your resume three times. Find a company that wants a strong candidate like yourself.
I would pose the question of “why were you rejected”? Was it based on experience? Education? How well you conducted yourself during interviews? Was the job posted internally? Most companies have to post an opening to the public even if they have an internal candidate in mind. I think having that info will help you make an informed decision on if you want to re-apply. I agree with the other comments - who cares if you look desperate? I would view it as tenacity which is a strong quality that is required in any type of sales role. All the best on your journey.
If you really want to work there, go for it. But don't get your hopes up. If they've already rejected you three times, they probably will again, as much as I hope that won't be the case. As for looking desperate, who cares? If that's how they view your repeated applications, fine. It's not going to change things for you or have any impact on your ability to get an offer elsewhere.
The worst is being rejected for a role you know you’re qualified for by getting the “we’ve moved on with another candidate” but the listing stays up on the company site for months.
This!! This is what I’m currently dealing with and it’s so discouraging especially when I’m in a time range to get a new job before losing mine.
Go for it.
I don’t think applying again makes you look desperate. If anything, it shows persistence. Recruiters know that rejection doesn’t always mean you aren’t a fit, just that you weren’t the right fit for that particular role.
