I honestly think it would be a waste of money to add another review course. There's no possible way you can fully utilize all those resources, especially if you're working full time. Your scores show that you're pretty close, I would focus on doing as many practice problems as you can in an environment that simulates the actual test day. Then spend a lot of time reviewing your practice problems, including the ones you got correct. A lot of people focus only on the questions they got wrong, but when you're trying to boost your score you also need to fully understand why the correct answer is correct.
Thats a good point, thank you!!!
I failed FAR twice with 74 and just passed it with 77 today. Keep going, you almost there.
Meanwhile I fail audit 8 times 🥲
Okay if I’m being honest, I’ve fail FAR 5 times………. this year lol. I tried passing a few years ago with no luck so I’ve definitely taken it more than 5 times (I’ve lost count). Good luck to you!!
I keep seeing posts like this a not gonna lie, it makes me wonder if we should have a max amount of tries to take the exams.
But also, they aren’t hard exams, just a lot of breadth. A 70 after a little bit of studying is understandable but like after try three if they’re really trying hard and not passing that’s concerning. Candidly wouldn’t it better if they failed with a 50 the first time since that shows some serious progress on subsequent exams? The CPA is supposed to show proficiency of baseline information in core disciplines, it’s not a final exam in any one area. The closest to that is the new special exams.
Do Maxwell CPA. It’s very cheap. $50 per month and his explanation videos are excellent. That will for sure push you over the hump. He’s as good at Darius in I75 with explaining, but more efficient and time effective. You can no-life his FAR videos in a weekend if you watch them back-to-back and they’ll definitely prepare you for the exam!
