I've had this side hustle selling on Shopify for about 18 months - doing all the marketing, customer outreach, conversions myself. Would adding that help or hurt me when recruiters look at my application for B2B sales positions?

Honestly, I would think it would help you. Any experience is experience. And in this job market you want to show as much experience as you can on your resume.

It only hurts if it looks like a distraction or a placeholder. Then it may make a manager second-guess if you're interested. If it’s positioned as proof you know how to drive revenue, build pipelines, and learn fast, it’s usually a positive.
