I've just started a new job (3 days in at a treatment works) but I've just been offered a new job doing hydrometry for an environmental company which I've really wanted to carry on doing.
I'm unsure as to what to do as I really want to continue in the environmental field but I don't want this to blow up in my face and get written a crap review from the company I've just joined.

I've been working at my company just over a year and am still waiting on my 1 year review where a raise was to be discussed (other EA got raise at 1 year review and most raises happen at yearly reviews). However, company have just changed their policy to only review salaries in Jan (change came in after my year mark). Had a scratchy throat yesterday that has since gone, low grade fever all day today (99-99.9). Have felt off and spacey today, and had a headache which went away after taking Advil. Have an appt to get covid testing tomorrow. Test is thru my doc office and they said they’d have results within 24 hrs. Even so, I currently have severe anxiety about all of it. Anyone have advice for how to cope until I know exactly what’s going on with me? I feel like this stress isn’t good for my immune system.
