Many good reputable brokers with free trading now including Charles Schwab. They also have better infrastructure and won’t crash in high trading volume like Robinhood did during the COVID crash. Highly recommend staying away from Robinhood now days as their free trade competitive advantage is gone.
Completely echo Z1. Free trades was the main thing going for Robinhood. I used them when they were the only ones with free trades but switched once the other firms started free trading. Other more established firms have much better research and features while still having free trades. I personally use Merrill Edge as they participate with Bank of America preferred rewards which gives a lot of benefits if you are a BOA customer.
I just opened a Charles Schwab account and I’m very impressed with their user friendly interface and wealth of knowledge it provides. Would recommend
Plus they won’t crash unlike robin hood

Nope, though you should think annoy the opportunity cost of leaving the cash waiting for the downturn

Schwab has the best customer service out of all the brokers.
Robinhood is incredibly unreliable - go with a real broker imo
Robinhood doesnt let you reinvest your dividends. Also why haven't you been investing all this time? Better get on that

Robinhood does allow that now.
Robinhood has terrible fills if you want to actively trade options. Iron condors and other multi-leg strategies are tough to do on there. Go with Schwab IMO.
I’m in Schwab now and love it. I am really late tot the investing game. Trying to guess when to sell before the next big downturn.
Any good ideas on a stock looking for a long term investment

As BOA customer, taking advantage of preferred rewards is quite a perk. I would recommend moving to Merrill.
